Job Description

Purpose

Responsibility for driving PERTEN product sales revenue and margin growth in the Oceania region.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to grow sales revenue business by achieving sales target and margin, ensuring year to year growth.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.
  • Facilitate solving customer problems on application issues through training, information and recommendation of solutions through knowledge of competitive offerings, as well as, pre-sales, post-sales, demos and executing against marketing initiatives.
  • Responsible for sales activities to meet the sales goals and develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts.
  • Setup, maintain, monitor, and cultivate accurate customer files and sales opportunities in Salesforce.com.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and seminars that speak to the customers’ business needs and applications by positioning our products as solutions to meeting those needs.
  • Continues update information to marketing team to create business development programs.
  • Work closely with the service team and customers in order to promote the sales of preventative maintenance and consumables and offering a high level of customer support.
  • Provide local support for planned customer event throughout the year. Provide feedback to management on industry trends, customers growth opportunities.
  • Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts. Develop business plan through quarterly plans of action.

Academic Qualifications and requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a chemistry or food technology degree.
  • Degree in Business is desirable.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in related Industry
  • Experience in industrial process instrumentation or laboratories instruments.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Have own transport and willing to travel domestically.
  • Independent and able to work as a team member.
  • Computer literate, knowledge in MS Office - Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Food Technology
  • Degree in Business
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in related industry
  • Experience with industrial process instrumentation or laboratory instruments
  • Proficient with Salesforce.com (setup and maintaining customer files/opportunities)
  • Computer literate with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
