The Customer Operations Representative manages customer requests, maintenance planning, procurement processes, data integrity, and compliance reporting, supporting enterprise accounts within the OneSource Enterprise Support Center.

Provides technical product and application support throughout the sales cycle for chromatography instruments. Conducts demonstrations, method development, presentations, customer training, troubleshooting, sample testing, and competitive analysis. Collaborates with sales, service, and regional teams to identify opportunities, support customer satisfaction, develop solutions, and meet sales objectives. Requires strong chromatography expertise, chemistry education, analytical problem-solving, presentation skills, and willingness to travel.

Manages an on-site laboratory services team supporting chemical management, materials management, and central storage operations. Responsibilities include supervision, coaching, resource planning, process improvement, customer relationship management, service-level coordination, training, quality and compliance, health and safety, and issue resolution. The role is a working leadership position requiring laboratory experience, customer service skills, inventory system knowledge, and regional travel of up to 20%.

Plans and coordinates manufacturing production schedules, work-order releases, material requirements, inventory levels, and order fulfillment. Uses SAP and MRP data to align production capacity with customer demand, monitor delivery and fill-rate performance, address shortages with buyers, complete material back-flash processes, and prepare production, backlog, and inventory reports. Participates in SIOP meetings and collaborates with production and business teams to improve order management.

Manages warehouse, receiving, storage, inventory, material handling, packing, shipping, and distribution operations at a manufacturing site. Leads and develops the Store and Receiving team, ensures compliance with trade, customs, ISO, SOX, and EHS requirements, manages controlled materials and scrap disposal, and drives process improvements in layout, space management, material flow, SOPs, and 5S. Coordinates with manufacturing teams to resolve build-plan support issues and leads special initiatives.

Designs and deploys assembly and test workstations, production cells, tooling, jigs, fixtures, and testing solutions. Leads lean and continuous-improvement initiatives, kaizen events, NPI manufacturing readiness, process validation, and line transfers. Develops standard work, routings, work instructions, control plans, and process documentation while using operational data to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, cycle time, defects, and floor space. Ensures EHS, ESD, quality, and regulatory compliance across regional manufacturing sites.

Designs manufacturing workstations, cells, jigs, fixtures, tooling, and test solutions. Leads lean and continuous-improvement initiatives, kaizen events, standard-work development, NPI readiness, process FMEAs, and line transfers. Uses manufacturing data to improve productivity, quality, capacity, cycle time, WIP, defects, and floor space. Collaborates across engineering, quality, R&D, suppliers, and regional manufacturing sites while ensuring safety, ESD, and applicable regulatory compliance.

Provides comprehensive office, reception, facility, visitor, training-event, mail, shipping, inventory, and administrative support. Coordinates customer visits, workshops, and training sessions; manages visitor access, meeting spaces, workplace supplies, facility vendors, and IT asset records. Supports onboarding and offboarding equipment processes, prepares documentation and reports, maintains records, and assists with procurement and special projects while ensuring a professional customer and employee experience.

Manage global digital orders and invoicing from submission through resolution. Monitor purchase orders, invoice uploads, fulfillment, and failed transactions across platforms such as Coupa and Ariba. Own customer cases, support onboarding, resolve complaints, perform root-cause analysis, and improve processes and integrations. Collaborate with Customer Care, Credit and Collections, customers, and other departments while ensuring compliance with local regulations. Support system upgrades and junior team members.

Achieve sales targets and revenue growth across Henan by developing new business, managing existing customer relationships, and selling analytical instrumentation solutions. Manage the complete sales cycle, including visits, opportunity development, quotations, negotiations, tenders, and contracts. Collaborate with application and service teams, monitor market and competitor activity, and provide business updates while supporting customer satisfaction.

Leads Greater China customer enablement across field service, service contracts, and consumables sales. Owns regional revenue, profit, gross margin, budgets, KPIs, customer escalations, operational process improvements, and global service-standard alignment. Manages service and sales leaders, develops talent pipelines and training systems, partners with HR on performance and workforce planning, and drives cross-functional collaboration and profitability.

Supports regional commercial performance for the atomic spectroscopy product line. Provides technical and commercial expertise to sales teams, leads competitive responses, localizes product launches, delivers sales training, manages beta programs, gathers market intelligence, supports customer demonstrations and strategic accounts, and feeds regional customer and competitive insights into central product strategy. Requires extensive regional travel and strong scientific instrumentation knowledge.

Own the 3–5 year roadmap, NPI business cases, commercial positioning, pricing strategy, and P&L contribution for PerkinElmer’s ICP/OES product segment. Lead customer insight and competitive intelligence programs, guide new product launches through commercialization, partner with R&D and commercial teams, and develop product management staff. The role requires deep analytical instrumentation expertise, strong financial acumen, and 25–30% travel.

Performs aerosol extraction, collection, sample preparation, and flavor analytics testing under supervision in an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory. Maintains instruments, records data in laboratory notebooks and LIMS, follows SOPs and quality systems, and supports production workflow scheduling. The role requires careful documentation, safety compliance, teamwork, and handling laboratory equipment, chemicals, and hazardous waste.

Coordinates enterprise customer service activities for scientific equipment and services. Processes service requests, schedules maintenance and compliance activities, dispatches service providers, records events in CMMS systems, monitors service levels, and follows up on issue resolution. Serves as a customer escalation point, validates data and KPIs, presents results, collaborates with service delivery and sales teams, and ensures customer satisfaction and timely completion of commitments.

Manages LC/LCMS product operations across quality, supply chain, commercial support, pricing, SKU administration, lifecycle management, and product launches. Coordinates field escalations, parts availability, competitive resources, KPIs, SAP setup, price books, product documentation, end-of-life communications, and cross-functional process improvements. Partners with R&D, Manufacturing, Service, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and senior product leadership to optimize the product portfolio and support market growth.

Own the software product roadmap for chromatography and analytical instrument software. Define requirements, prioritize backlogs, manage release strategies, conduct customer research, coordinate beta programs, oversee user acceptance testing, and partner with software R&D. Develop commercial enablement materials, train sales teams, and support marketing with technically accurate content. The role is hybrid in Woodbridge, Ontario, requiring three days onsite weekly.

Owns operational management for the Gas Chromatography product portfolio, including SKU and lifecycle management, pricing administration, quality and supply-chain issue triage, commercial support, KPI reporting, product documentation, and new product launch readiness. The role coordinates with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, sales, and product leadership while maintaining product data, price books, configuration guides, and escalation tracking.

Manage customer work orders and service requests across EMEA, ensuring SLA and contractual compliance. Coordinate maintenance, repairs, validation services, procurement, invoicing, and third-party providers. Maintain accurate databases and documentation, support enterprise accounts, prepare business reports, and identify process improvements.
