We’re looking for a driven Senior Sales Rep to join the Wolters Kluwer Sales and Business Development Team. You are responsible for generating revenue by closing national account sales and managing high-profile clients. You’ll work closely with marketing and sales to identify and convert qualified opportunities, contributing to our growth in the Tax and Legal Research & Learning Technology space.
The role involves researching prospects, working on inbound and outbound marketing campaigns, and communicating our value proposition to senior decision-makers to acquire sales- qualified opportunities. You'll work with marketing to uncover and create new opportunities that result in closed business, as well as work closely with the sales team to ensure qualified opportunities lead to closed business.
This role is based in our Macquarie Park (Sydney) office with flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new sales & revenue
Maintain post-sales contact with large or strategic clients to facilitate a positive and productive long-term relationship
Communicate with customers with regards to any account problems and discusses customer concerns and suggestions
Focus efforts new sale generation and future commercial prospects
Report suggestions to and develop solutions with sales, order processing, and customer success and support team
Compile data on marketing trends, competitive products and pricing and reports to management
Travel to and attend conferences, events and customer meetings as required
About You
5+ years’ experience in sales or other equivalent experience
Solid understanding of business, financials, products/services and the market, preferably with a reputation for providing a level of expert knowledge within your industry
Excellent communication (both written & oral) and presentation skills
Ability to plan own territory/account approach and manage own resources;
Client Engagement: Ability to interact with clients and understand their needs.
Sales Techniques: Knowledge of effective sales strategies and techniques.
CRM Proficiency: Experience with customer relationship management software.
Data Analysis: Skills in interpreting market data and sales metrics.
Negotiation: Basic skills in negotiating terms with clients.
Project Organization: Ability to manage sales projects and campaigns.
Feedback Management: Skills in collecting and acting on client feedback.
Continuous Learning: Commitment to ongoing sales and product training.
