Job Description SummaryThis role is part of the Government team for South Asia, responsible for driving sales to government institutions, with a focus on Central Procurement Agencies (CPAs) such as HITES (Noida), DGAFMS (Army), ESIC, and other similar accounts. The position supports in India and South Asia, with an emphasis on selling the entire GE HealthCare Imaging portfolio to large customers. The role is responsible for implementing the organizational strategy to drive business in key government accounts. It involves creating and preparing both technical and commercial collaterals, and replicating successful models to expand sales.

Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
  • Implements the strategy for government sales across the Imaging portfolio and other relevant GE HealthCare offerings in select key government accounts.

  • Demonstrates the ability to generate business opportunities that enhance GE HealthCare’s presence in the marketplace.

  • Initiates sales by positioning GE HealthCare technologies and identifying the most suitable technical and commercial solutions. Promotes the business value proposition of GE HealthCare technologies.

  • Effectively communicates complex concepts and influences customer perspectives on specific topics, solutions, or technologies. Guides stakeholders to consider alternative viewpoints or approaches.

  • Engage with and deliver GE HealthCare value proposition to senior level contacts within account and/or prospect organizations.

  • Comply with the GE HealthCare Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Graduate degree from an accredited university or college; a Master’s degree is preferred.

  • 8+ years of successful leadership experience in sales, marketing, or related roles within a large organization or public procurement agency.

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the Indian subcontinent and South Asia.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create project reports, and to prepare, analyze, and refine various equipment and technology solutions.

  • Experience in contract management for government procurements is preferred.

  • Highly compliance-driven.

  • Strong business acumen, financial and sales process knowledge.

  • Keen ability to learn new concepts, technology and agility to adapt to changing industry dynamics .

  • Technical knowledge of the Healthcare industry/ equipment technology/ sales process (preferable not compulsory).

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with mid to senior level management team.

  • Adaptable and flexible to work environment including, but not limited to, handling multiple tasks concurrently, and easily adapting to new assignments, system, tools -- produce clear, concise, accurate written communication, clearly conveying thoughts and ideas to peers, management, and customers.
