We are seeking a Senior Sales Associate based in the Austin / San Antonio area!

 
About the Job

As a Senior Sales Associate at Access, you will support the sales team while beginning to independently manage smaller accounts, qualify opportunities, and develop new business within the market. You’ll work closely with Sales, Creative, hotel partners, vendors, and clients to develop thoughtful program solutions while building your knowledge of the destination and strengthening your sales skills.

 
What You'll Be Doing
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients while managing smaller accounts and program components.

  • Qualify inbound leads, conduct discovery calls, and prioritize opportunities based on revenue potential and strategic fit.

  • Prospect for new business and begin developing your own pipeline through research, outreach, industry events, and local partnerships.

  • Build relationships with hotels and other destination partners alongside the broader Sales team.

  • Support the development of proposals, including budgets, agendas, transportation, gifting, site visits, and other program elements.

  • Develop strong knowledge of Austin-area hotels, venues, activities, and suppliers to help create destination-specific recommendations.

  • Conduct outreach to prospective clients, schedule discovery meetings, and track activity and follow-up.

  • Assist with closing smaller, lower-complexity programs and begin leading closing conversations on select accounts.

  • Represent Access at select hotel, partner, and industry events.

  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records, monitor your pipeline, and contribute to forecasting and territory reporting.

  • Experience in sales, hospitality, events, destination management, or a related client-facing environment.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM.

  • Knowledge of the Austin hospitality, hotel, venue, or events market is a plus.

  • Ability to collaborate across Sales, Creative, Operations, and partner teams.
