We seek a senior level Automation Engineer that will participate in all aspects of testing new and innovative web applications. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and new product development in an established company that is rapidly growing. What You'll Do
- You will be ensuring our platforms meet the highest level of quality by creating automated tests and preforming manual tests
- You will be given the opportunity to work with many different technologies and with a diverse and experienced team
- You will own the test execution end to end, leading quality for the product
- Test scalable web applications utilizing open-source tools and technologies
- Use REST and GraphQL APIs
- Drive projects independently while maintaining constant alignment with the team
- Lead the test planning, automate common test cases, and perform manual testing of new features
- Identify complex bugs and create detailed bug reports
- Create a testing suite using AWS synthetic monitoring
- Automate regression testing utilizing GitHub pipelines
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with software automation testing
- 5+ years of experience with a JavaScript automation framework like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Experience with both manual and automated testing
- Experience working within Unix terminals
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Great eye for detail, precise
- Bold and willing to speak up if something is wrong
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English (writing and speaking)
Nice to Have
- Experience with any of the following would be a plus: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, AWS (or another cloud provider)
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
