Role Value Proposition
Scrum lead plays a critical role in driving end-to-end agile delivery within the data and analytics life cycle and significantly contributes to production grade data and analytics solutions. The role requires one to demonstrate agile delivery expertise, stakeholder management, and ability to align business priorities with execution. This role mentors Scrum leads. It is an individual contributor role, expected to independently function. It is an individual contributor role, expected to lead multiple agile teams
Experience: 8-10+ years of relevant experience
Education: Bachelor's degree (Preferably in computer science, information technology) or equivalent educational qualification
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including PI & iteration planning, daily stand-ups, ART sync, Demo's, retrospectives, and iteration reviews.
• Drive alignment across teams, ensuring dependencies, risks and blockers are identified and resolved
• Partner with Product Owners & key stakeholders to maintain and prioritize the backlog.
• Track and report key delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput)
• Ensure adherence to Agile principles and organizational standards
• Collaborate with multiple partners from Business, Technology, Operations and D&A capabilities (Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Modeling, Data Architecture, Data science, DevOps, BI & insights)
• Independently lead agile delivery, planning estimation and execution
• Mentor Scrum Leads
Technical Skills:
• Understanding of the Data & Analytics lifecycle and Agile delivery models.
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Agile tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Problem-solving, communucaiton, negotiation, confict resolution skills
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Storytelling, Partner, Stakeholder engagement experience
• Mentorship experience
Good to have skills:
• Exposure to Gen AI technology and tools
• Banking Financial Services and Insurance domain knowledge
