Senior Engineering ManagerYour role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority in automation engineering for metals process applications. Each day, you will handle assignments across multiple projects, ensuring delivery in a cost-effective and timely manner. You will ensure that all deliverables meet contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies.

This role contributes to the Process Industries – Metals (INAU-PI, India) business in India. Main stakeholders include customers, engineering teams, commissioning teams, and project managers.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Delivering engineering, application software development, FAT, commissioning, and service activities for automation projects.
Preparing engineering documentation such as motor/component lists, I/O lists, and supporting panel design and manufacturing.
Ensuring timely execution of projects including testing, simulation, and completed handover to customers.
Supporting customers with technical service while collaborating with internal teams for installation and commissioning.

Qualifications for the role
8–12 years of experience in automation solutions within the metals industry.
Extensive experience in PLC/DCS systems, application programming, and HMI development.
Solid knowledge of automation hardware/software, communication protocols, and industrial IT systems.
Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech/Diploma) in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with high honors.
Experience in engineering, commissioning, diagnosing, and servicing automation and drive systems (in cold rolling or profile mill applications).
Clear communication skills in English and ability to collaborate effectively with customers and teams.
Willingness to travel extensively (150–200 days/year).
