Role Overview:
The AV Project Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Audio-Visual (AV) integration projects from initiation to completion. This includes managing site readiness, resource planning, vendor coordination, installation supervision, testing, commissioning, and customer handover while ensuring quality and timeline adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage end-to-end AV project implementation at customer sites.
• Review project drawings, BOM, and SOW to ensure technical and scope compliance.
• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and internal engineering teams for material readiness and installation support.
• Conduct site surveys and validate infrastructure readiness (power, network, racks, conduits, etc.).
• Supervise installation, configuration, programming, and testing of AV systems (Displays, DSPs, Video Conferencing, Control Systems, etc.).
• Ensure quality, safety, and documentation standards are followed during execution.
• Maintain daily progress reports, track milestones, and flag risks or deviations.
• Conduct UAT/ITC sign-off and handover with proper documentation (as-built drawings, configuration files, test reports).
• Support knowledge transfer to operations team post-deployment.
• Liaise with clients for progress reviews, issue resolution, and satisfaction feedback.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Communication Engineering (or equivalent).
• 4–8 years of experience in AV system integration or project management.
• Strong understanding of AV systems – Displays, Audio Processors, Mixers, Control Systems (Crestron/AMX/Extron), VC platforms (Poly, Cisco, Zoom, Teams Rooms), and network-based AV.
• Experience handling multi-location or enterprise-level AV deployments.
• Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
• Familiar with project tracking tools, documentation, and vendor management.
Preferred Certifications:
• CTS / CTS-I / CTS-D (AVIXA)
• Crestron / Extron / Harman / Poly / Cisco certifications
• PMP or equivalent project management certification (optional)
