Job Purpose and Impact
Senior Power BI Analyst is responsible for transforming complex Manufacturing and Supply Chain data into scalable analytics solutions that drive operational excellence and business performance. This role partners closely with supply chain, manufacturing and operational stakeholders to deliver advanced Power BI reporting, actionable insights and data-driven decision support.
With minimal supervision, this position works across large and complex datasets from multiple sources, including SAP and enterprise data platforms, ensuring high-quality analytics, strong data governance and reporting standardization. The role requires balancing technical expertise with stakeholder engagement to translate business challenges into impactful analytical solutions.
Key Accountabilities
1. DATA ENGINEERING & ANALYTICS
  • Collects, transforms and optimizes large-scale datasets from Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Operational systems.
  • Develops scalable data models and analytical solutions using SQL, Python and modern enterprise data platforms.
  • Identifies trends, bottlenecks and optimization opportunities within supply chain and manufacturing processes.

2. POWER BI DEVELOPMENT & VISUALIZATION
  • Designs, develops and maintains advanced Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for operational and leadership audiences.
  • Creates robust data models, advanced DAX calculations and performance-optimized reporting solutions.
  • Establishes reporting standards, KPI frameworks and dashboard governance to ensure consistency across business functions.
  • Designs user-friendly visualizations and mobile-ready reports that support effective decision-making.

3. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
  • Partners with Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Business Leadership teams to understand reporting requirements and business priorities.
  • Provides recommendations and insights that support operational performance improvements.
  • Effectively manages multiple stakeholder requests while independently prioritizing workload and project deliverables.

4. DATA GOVERNANCE & QUALITY
  • Ensures data integrity, consistency and governance standards across reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Supports best practices in data management, documentation and reporting architecture.

5. BUSINESS PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT
  • Uses analytics to identify opportunities for process optimization, inventory management improvements and operational efficiency gains.
  • Supports strategic initiatives by delivering meaningful insights and executive-level storytelling through data.

6. COLLABORATION
  • Collaborates with Digital Technology, Data Engineering and Business teams to ensure reliable data pipelines and reporting solutions.
  • Supports the adoption of analytics-driven decision making across Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics or Data Analysis roles.
  • Experience supporting Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Operations functions.
  • Advanced Power BI skills, including data modelling, DAX and visualization development.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience using Python and enterprise data platforms such as SAP or Snowflake.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize competing business needs.

Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP, IBP, Microsoft Fabric or KNIME.
  • Experience designing executive-level dashboards and KPI frameworks.
  • Experience driving process improvement through data and analytics.

Skills Required

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience

  • Experience writing complex queries including joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions
  • Hands-on experience with at least one relational database system
  • Familiarity with modern data warehouse platforms
