Lead LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam’s Packing Production, driving operational excellence, people development, continuous improvement, and world‑class quality across production lines.
* This position is based in Tan Uyen, Binh Duong, and no relocation assistance is offered.
Ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of finished goods output, with strong decision‑making and problem‑solving as core daily leadership activities.
Lead internal employees and external labor; collaborate closely with Engineering, Logistics/Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) to ensure efficient manufacturing processes that meet customer requirements.
Ensure daily operational performance measurement, including reporting and key performance indicator (KPI) updates.
Drive continuous improvement and productivity initiatives, including product changeovers, ramp‑up of new production lines, and optimization of labor efficiency.
Define KPIs for the responsible area and actively develop team capabilities.
Direct, supervise, and evaluate production personnel to achieve maximum performance.
Plan and allocate resources (workforce, raw materials) and organize workflows to meet specifications and deadlines.
Prepare annual budgets, estimate costs, and control manufacturing expenses responsibly.
Enforce occupational health and safety measures and act as a role model for people safety, health, and quality of work.
Develop organizational and individual development plans and provide regular formal and informal performance feedback.
Follow up on standard processes such as Performance Management Process (PMP), People Review Process (PRP), and Pulse surveys.
Actively collaborate with other LEGO manufacturing sites globally.
Ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS), legal requirements, and internal and external standards.
This role leads LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam Packing Production and is ultimately responsible for the smooth operation of all production lines and the quality of finished goods output. The key challenges include managing operational complexity, responding flexibly to demand, ensuring the right capabilities across the team, and maintaining strong control of budgets and labor costs.
Do you have what it takes?University degree, preferably in Engineering or a technical field.
Strong experience and deep know‑how in production procedures.
Minimum 6 years of people‑leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 1 year of experience in paper packaging production.
Experience working with automated packaging machinery.
Experience reporting on key production metrics and KPIs.
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a strong, results‑driven decision‑making approach.
Strong attention to detail, with proven experience in 5S deployment and shopfloor management.
Experience working with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
Ability to travel several times per year, including international travel.
Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, focus on employee well‑being, and high personal and professional ethics.
Experience working in a multinational and culturally diverse environment.
Creative and innovative leadership style with strong execution capability and a commitment to openness and transparency.
Very good command of both spoken and written English (advanced proficiency).
