About the Role 


As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Copilot Growth, you will define and drive growth strategy across the free-to-paid customer journey for Microsoft 365 Copilot and related Copilot experiences in the Corporate and SMB (SME&C) segment. You will create integrated programs that expand reach, activate new users, demonstrate value, convert qualified customers to paid offerings, and accelerate sustained adoption and expansion. 


This role sits at the intersection of product marketing, lifecycle growth, partner enablement, and go-to-market execution. You will connect in-product, digital, field, and partner motions; shape program strategy and offers; equip partners to acquire, activate, and convert customers; and establish measurement frameworks that improve performance across the funnel.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities 
 

  • Define and drive the Copilot Growth strategy across free experiences, trials, paid conversion, adoption, retention, and expansion, with clear customer segments, value propositions, priorities, and success measures.
  • Build and optimize integrated customer journeys that connect product-led, digital, field, and partner touchpoints to increase activation, engagement, conversion, and sustained Copilot usage.
  • Lead Copilot Growth programs—including acquisition, free-user engagement, trials, conversion, deployment, adoption, retention, and expansion—and translate strategy into scalable campaigns, offers, playbooks, and execution plans.
  • Partner across Product Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Business Planning, Sales, Customer Success, and Partner teams to influence product experiences, commercial motions, investments, and go-to-market decisions.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
 Additional or preferred qualifications

  

  • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative capabilities, including funnel analysis, cohort measurement, experimentation, business-case development, and translating insights into actions
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders and aligning teams around a clear growth narrative
  • Program Management: Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional programs from strategy through launch, optimization, and performance review
  • Navigating Ambiguity & Growth Mindset: Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, create clarity from incomplete information, adapt priorities as conditions evolve, and move teams toward decisions and action through experimentation and learning
  • Partner & Cross-Functional Influence: Proven ability to enable partners, lead across functions, and create compelling programs and narratives that drive alignment and measurable Copilot Growth outcomes 


Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
