We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the roadmap, strategy, execution and outcomes for a core product area at Handoff. ou’ll lead a cross-functional squad with engineering and design, turning complex contractor problems into simple, high-impact products that drive measurable customer and business outcomes.
This role is for someone who combines a strong judgment, deep customer obsession, and a high bar for evidence-based execution. You should be energized by complexity, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a fast-paced, AI-driven startup solving real-world problems for builders and remodelers.
What you’ll do
- Own the squad roadmap, strategic direction, execution, traction and outcomes for a core product area.
- Identify and prioritize the highest-leverage customer and business problems, making clear tradeoffs about what we build and what we don’t.
- Conduct continuous customer discovery - interviews, prototypes, field visits, user behavior - and turn insights into clear specs, user stories, and priorities.
- Partner closely engineering and design from ambiguous problems to simple, polished solutions, iterating quickly from discovery through launch and beyond.
- Define success metrics, set up tracking, analyze performance, and drive measurable improvements in adoption, activation, retention, and business outcomes.
- Produce and update our roadmap and communicate product direction across leadership and GTM teams.
- Translate features into benefits, positioning and customer outcomes, supporting sales, marketing, and onboarding with clear collateral.
- Sweat the details - QA, polish, and validate every flow and edge case before launch.
- Apply Handoff’s product principles - simplemaxxing, mobile-first, AI-first, and customer-obsession - to every design, feature, and product decision
About you
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally in vertical SaaS and high-growth tech startups or scaleups
- Experience building B2B SaaS products; with AI experience strongly preferred.
- Track record of owning meaningful product areas from strategy and discovery through launch, adoption, and measurable impact; Experience building 0→1 or early-stage products and rapidly iterating toward adoption.
- Strong skills in customer discovery, research, experimentation, and ruthless prioritization.
- Proven ability to work hand-in-hand with engineers and designers in agile environments.
- Excellent writing and communication - able to produce crisp specs, epics, prototypes, and roadmap docs.
- AI-native mindset — comfortable using AI in your own work and excited about building products where AI fundamentally changes customer workflows.
- Excitement about construction, remodeling, and home services - genuine curiosity about contractors’ world and transforming the construction industry
- Startup DNA - comfort in ambiguity, bias for action, stamina for fast-moving environments.
- Bonus: Experience building CRM, project management, payments / fintech / banking, AI-driven products, or self-serve PLG (product-led growth)
