Veeva Systems is a mission-driven organization and pioneer in industry cloud, helping life sciences companies bring therapies to patients faster. As one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in history, we surpassed $3B in revenue in our last fiscal year with extensive growth potential ahead.

At the heart of Veeva are our values: Do the Right Thing, Customer Success, Employee Success, and Speed. We're not just any public company – we made history in 2021 by becoming a public benefit corporation (PBC), legally bound to balancing the interests of customers, employees, society, and investors.

Join us in transforming the life sciences industry, committed to making a positive impact on its customers, employees, and communities.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager with a strong AI/agent product background to join our team within CRM Suite. You will take AI-powered features from 0 to 1 — from concept through detailed design to launch. Initial focus areas will include our Events and Voice product lines, though scope may evolve over time based on your strengths and where you can create the most impact. This role is for someone who understands the underlying logic of agents and AI systems deeply, and who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to drive a feature through detailed design and execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end delivery of AI/agent features within CRM Suite, from ideation and requirement definition through to launch — personally driving execution, not just setting direction.
  • Translate agent and LLM mechanics (reasoning, tool use, context/memory, orchestration, etc.) into concrete, shippable product designs and detailed specs.
  • Partner closely with engineering to define agent workflows, evaluate trade-offs, and iterate based on real usage and feedback.
  • Maintain a coherent, forward-looking view of how AI capabilities should be structured across the product lines you own, while staying hands-on with the details of any single feature.
  • Prepare and present product materials to internal and external stakeholders, translating technical AI capabilities into clear business value.
  • Continuously track emerging AI/agent patterns and technologies, and translate relevant ones into practical roadmap items.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including at least one AI/agent product taken from 0 to 1 (concept to launch) as the product lead.
  • Deep, hands-on understanding of agent architecture and underlying mechanics — e.g., LLM reasoning/planning, tool use/function calling, RAG, memory, multi-agent orchestration — not just conceptual familiarity.
  • Must possess a technical background (CS degree or equivalent hands-on engineering/technical experience), enabling detailed, credible collaboration with engineers on system design trade-offs.
  • A hands-on product builder — comfortable writing detailed specs and flows, working through edge cases, and personally driving features through to release.
  • Strong product design sense — able to translate complex AI capabilities into simple, intuitive user experiences.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, particularly with engineering teams building AI systems.
  • Fast learner, comfortable navigating ambiguity across multiple active product lines.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in life sciences/pharma or other complex, regulated industries.
  • Experience building AI agent products in an enterprise SaaS context.
  • Familiarity with evaluation frameworks for LLM-based products (offline eval, A/B testing for AI features).
