Procurement Manager
Location: Bellevue, WA (Hybrid)
About the RoleProcurement at LogicGate starts and ends with you. You'll report directly to the CFO, owning the company's key vendor relationships and negotiating with senior leaders across the business to set the standard for how procurement decisions get made. You will be our first dedicated procurement professional, so the intake process, vendor tracking, and negotiation approach are yours to shape: keep what's working, rework what isn't, and build what's missing. You learned that discipline at a larger, more structured company, and now you'll bring it here, moving between a seven-figure renewal with the CFO and a routine PO in the same week.
What You'll Do
- Lead vendor contract renewals and negotiations from opening terms through signature, benchmarking pricing against market data and setting the negotiation playbook and cost benchmarks other procurement decisions at LogicGate get measured against.
- Serve as LogicGate's primary negotiator on the key vendor and contract decisions, partnering with the CFO and senior leaders across the business to align commercial terms with what each function actually needs, and preparing vendor-spend and cost-savings reporting.
- Negotiate and manage cloud infrastructure costs as well as AI spend on an ongoing basis, right-sizing commitments and renegotiating agreements as usage changes.
- Track software spend and license utilization across the company, reclaiming unused or duplicate seats and flagging unauthorized tools that are draining budget outside the normal purchasing process.
- Maintain the vendor and contract calendar, tracking renewal and expiration dates and looping in Legal and InfoSec at the right points so nothing auto-renews or lapses by surprise.
- Run LogicGate's procurement intake process day to day, keeping the path to request a purchase clear and fast for department heads.
- Set up and/or approve new vendors in LogicGate's systems
- Process purchase orders and cross-check invoices against contract terms before payment, catching billing errors and pricing discrepancies early.
What You Bring
Required:
- 8+ years of procurement, vendor management, or sourcing experience, including several years inside a structured, enterprise-level procurement organization where you learned rigorous contracting, negotiation, and vendor management best practices.
- Proven experience running procurement at an earlier stage fast-growing tech company, where you kept what worked, rebuilt what didn't, and built what was missing, including full ownership of the highest-dollar, highest-complexity vendor relationships.
- Direct experience negotiating multi-year vendor and cloud contracts, including SaaS renewals and cloud commitment agreements, with a track record of measurable, material cost savings.
- Hands-on experience with the accounts-payable side of procurement: setting up new vendors, collecting tax and banking documentation, and matching invoices against POs and contracts.
- Experience preparing vendor-spend or cost-savings reporting for a CFO or a key stakeholder, translating procurement outcomes into a financial narrative executives can act on.
- Comfort working directly with the CFO and senior leaders across the business on important contract negotiations and budget decisions, while independently owning execution down to the PO level.
- Working knowledge of modern procurement and spend management tools, such as Zip, Tropic, Ramp, Vendr, or Airbase.
Nice to Have:
- Experience building a procurement function from scratch at a growth-stage or private-equity-backed tech company.
- Familiarity with SaaS spend management practices: license reclamation, cost audits, and flagging unauthorized software purchases.
- Background partnering with Legal, Security, or IT teams on vendor contract and risk review processes.
The anticipated base salary range for the role is $140,000 - $170,000 per year + variable + equity + benefits. Actual salaries may vary and will be based on factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Internal candidates who have current pay within or above the hiring range are still encouraged to apply if interested.
