Join our innovative Platform Engineering team, where you will be a key player in automating and optimizing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes, networking, and advanced security tools like HashiCorp Vault. In this role, you will develop and maintain internal platforms that enhance efficiency, reliability, and security across our entire development toolchain, supporting full-stack development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Mastery: Design, implement, and maintain IaC solutions using tools like Terraform, enabling scalable, repeatable infrastructure deployments.
- Kubernetes Management: Architect and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of containerized applications.
- Networking and Security: Develop and maintain network configurations, implement secure networking practices, and manage access controls with tools like HashiCorp Vault.
- CI/CD Optimization: Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes, ensuring fast, reliable delivery of code.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor infrastructure and application performance, swiftly addressing issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing guidance on best practices in IaC, Kubernetes, and secure infrastructure management.
- Networking and Security: Develop and maintain network configurations, implement secure networking practices, and manage access controls with tools like HashiCorp Vault.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing the latest DevOps practices and technologies to enhance our platform's capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Infrastructure Expertise: Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Kubernetes Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, management, and associated tools (e.g., Helm, Kustomize).
- Networking Skills: Expertise in network architecture, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and DNS, with a focus on secure and efficient configurations.
- Security Tools: Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and other security-enhancing tools.
- Programming and Scripting: Proficient in scripting languages like Bash or Python and familiar with programming languages such as Go or Java.
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with DevOps tools including Git, Perforce, and the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence).
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving infrastructure challenges.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively within agile teams and effectively communicating technical concepts.
Education and Training:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field.
