Wasabi is focused on just one thing: being the largest pure play cloud storage provider for the AI era and beyond.
The Role
Own Wasabi’s AI partner activation strategy from concept to execution. Develop joint value propositions, messaging, co-branded content, enablement resources, training, and demand-generation campaigns with technology alliance partners. Drive adoption among Channel Account Managers and channel teams, manage content distribution through partner and sales enablement platforms, measure engagement and pipeline impact, and coordinate with alliance, product marketing, sales enablement, and field marketing teams.
Summary Generated by Built In

At Wasabi, we’re a proven collection of pioneers, visionaries and disruptive doers. We see things differently than our competitors, and we make our mark in the industry by challenging the norm and delivering the unexpected and improbable. We’re a fast-growing company taking the Cloud Storage industry by storm and recognized as one of the best places to work in Boston.

Wasabi hot cloud storage is a new class and category of cloud storage, breaking all traditional barriers and boundaries of storage with a disruptive value proposition of being 1/5th the cost of AWS S3, faster than the competition, with no fees for egress or API requests. Cloud storage has never been so simple, so fast and so inexpensive. It’s all part of our vision to make cloud storage the next great global utility, just like electricity.

About the Role

Wasabi is building out its AI story with our technology alliance partners, and we're looking for a senior, seasoned Partner Activation Manager to own the content and enablement strategy that brings it to market. This is a hybrid strategy-and-execution role: half the job is working with alliance partners to shape a compelling, differentiated joint narrative around AI; the other half is turning that narrative into content and tools that our Channel Account Managers (CAMs) and partner-facing teams can actually use to sell it.

This is a build-it-yourself role in a fast-moving, still-forming space. AI is a new and evolving category for Wasabi and our alliance partners, there isn't an established playbook to follow. We need someone who's energized and passionate about building something new, who can bring structure to ambiguity, make judgment calls without waiting for perfect information, and move at the pace the market is moving.

You'll sit inside the Alliances org, working as the activation counterpart to our Alliance Managers who own the partner relationship, the business plan, and executive alignment; you own bringing the joint solution to life through content, education, and demand generation.

Job Responsibilities:

Story & Content Development

  • Partner with our alliance partners to define a clear, differentiated joint value proposition and narrative
  • Translate technical joint-solution capabilities into positioning, messaging, and content that resonates with partners, sellers, and customers
  • Build co-branded content assets (solution briefs, pitch decks, battlecards, case studies, demo scripts) in partnership with product marketing and the alliance partner's own marketing team

Enablement Strategy & Execution

  • Design and own the enablement strategy that gets AI content into the hands of CAMs and the broader channel - training sessions, playbooks, certifications, and self-service resources
  • Identify and manage the right distribution channels for content (partner portals, enablement platforms, CAM-facing tools, sales enablement systems)
  • Track engagement and adoption of enablement content, and iterate based on what CAMs and partners actually use

Demand Generation & Awareness

  • Build awareness campaigns (webinars, events, digital content, incentives) that drive interest in the joint AI solution
  • Support field and partner marketing teams in localizing and executing these programs regionally

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Alliance Manager(s) on the partner relationship to ensure content and enablement priorities match the joint business plan
  • Partner with product marketing, sales enablement, and channel teams to keep messaging and materials consistent across every audience
  • Serve as the go-to resource CAMs contact when they need to understand or position joint solutions

What Success Looks Like

  • CAMs and channel partners can clearly articulate the AI joint value proposition
  • Enablement content is being actively used (not just published) - measured through adoption, certification completion, or content engagement
  • Awareness and demand-gen programs produce measurable pipeline contribution
  • Alliance partners see Wasabi as a strong co-marketing partner on this initiative

Qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years in partner marketing, alliance marketing, or partner enablement, ideally in cybersecurity, cloud, or enterprise SaaS - senior enough to own this end-to-end with minimal direction
  • Track record of building a content/enablement motion from scratch in a new or undefined category, not just running an existing playbook
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment, and to make good calls quickly without waiting for complete information
  • Strong writer and storyteller - able to turn technical capability into a message a seller or partner can use
  • Experience building enablement content and driving its adoption through CAMs or channel teams
  • Comfortable working directly with external partner marketing counterparts, including at senior levels, to co-develop content
  • Strong project management instincts — this role juggles content development, enablement rollout, and partner coordination simultaneously, often in parallel

Preferred

  • Familiarity with partner portals / enablement platforms (e.g., Impartner, Allbound, PartnerStack, Highspot, or similar)
  • Experience in cybersecurity, AI, or data resilience/protection markets
  • Experience running MDF-funded content or co-marketing programs with technology alliance partners

What We Do

Wasabi is on a mission to store all the world’s data by making data storage simple, affordable, predictable, and secure. If you have data to store, whether it’s backups, medical images, surveillance videos, financial data, multimedia, or scientific data, our pledge is to always be the cheapest, fastest, most secure and reliable cloud storage in the world. It’s all we do, and we do it better than anyone. In September 2022, Wasabi achieved unicorn status following $250M in funding. In January 2026, Wasabi announced an additional $70 million equity funding round, valuing the company at $1.8 billion and bringing total funding to over $600 million. As leaders in our community, Wasabi strives to always inspire by example and give to those who are most in need. We team up with our partners in a purposeful way to create corporate social responsibility initiatives that will make a true impact in a way that is authentic to who we are. Our community engagement programs include veteran support via the Run to Home Base, support for women in sports with Girls Hockey Day at TD Garden, and non-profit storage donations. The Red Hot Beats program, launched with our partners at the Liverpool Football Club Foundation, promotes mental health and wellness through music therapy for young people in the Liverpool area. Meanwhile, our founding partnership of the MGM Music Hall at Fenway supports arts access, education, and opportunity for students and emerging artists in New England. Our values guide everything we do, shaping our culture and driving our mission. Wasabi's H.O.T. Culture framework stands for Humility, Ownership, and Togetherness. We value and respect others and are open to feedback and suggestions, recognizing that no one person has all the answers, take personal responsibility for our actions, decisions, and outcomes, and thrive when there's collaboration, teamwork, and inclusivity.

Why Work With Us

At Wasabi, we trust our employees and give them the flexibility to prioritize their personal lives while doing their best work. Our remote model and flexible schedules are among what employees value most. In 2026, 96% said they have the flexibility to balance work and personal life, 8 points higher than the industry average.
