The Role
As a Senior Analyst, you will act as a strategic business owner with genuine autonomy - setting ambitious commercial goals for your portfolio and delivering them independently, while directly managing performance, efficiency, and gross profit-and-loss outcomes. You will be a trusted voice for senior stakeholders, known for spotting opportunities before they're asked for, moving quickly from analysis to decision, and bringing big ideas to the table proactively.
We are looking for experienced analytical thinkers who have proven they can own outcomes end-to-end, build influence across a broad stakeholder network, and raise the bar for the team around them.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and optimise day-on-day, month-on-month, and year-on-year commercial performance across your portfolio, working efficiently to turn data into decisions at pace
  • Independently set, communicate, and deliver ambitious long-term strategies for your portfolio that balance higher gross profit margins and improved client happiness
  • Identify trends in client performance data versus their target metrics, outlining actions that positively influence their ROI
  • Build a deep understanding of our clients - their business models, internal pressures, and success metrics - so you can anticipate their needs and represent their perspective credibly in internal decisions
  • Build a picture of monthly client budgets, where we're missing them, and lead the steps we take with our marketing teams to close the gap
  • Own competitor and market research for your portfolio, ensuring we are matching the most valuable customers with the clients that best suit their needs
  • Apply a strong command of different monetization models (e.g. Cost per Lead, Cost per Click, Cost per Appointment) to access and deliver new and existing client budgets
  • Build and own processes that increase efficiency and alignment across both your own and the wider team's priorities, and share these with less experienced team members
  • Lead cross-functional responses to key client concerns with urgency - running internal meetings, building consensus quickly, and crafting presentations that pinpoint choices that nurture growth
  • Use in-house products, data visualization platforms (such as Looker), and machine learning and AI tools to build solutions that help monitor your portfolio's performance

Our Ideal MVFer
  • Has a sharp commercial instinct: you understand not just how MVF builds long-term profitability, but how each of our clients does too - and you use that depth of understanding to spot opportunities others miss
  • Is analytical and efficient: you get to the "why" behind a problem quickly, knowing which analysis matters and which doesn't, and turning insight into confident decisions without over-engineering the process
  • Operates with genuine independence: you set and achieve ambitious goals with minimal oversight, navigating fast-paced, changing priorities by owning your outcomes end-to-end and knowing exactly when to draw on the teams around you
  • Is a trusted communicator: you articulate complex ideas concisely, rarely surface issues without a proposed solution, and have earned the confidence of senior stakeholders through consistent, reliable delivery
  • Builds influence across the business: you nurture a broad stakeholder network, understand that different teams and individuals are motivated by different metrics, and use that understanding to build consensus quickly and move work forward
  • Brings big ideas proactively: you don't wait to be asked - you spot new opportunities, pressure-test them, and champion them with conviction
  • Is deeply self-aware: you display a growth mindset, know your own development areas and actively work on them, hold yourself to high standards, and both give and welcome great constructive feedback
  • Owns their decisions: you demonstrate conviction in your proposals, are the first to hold your hand up to learn from your mistakes, and set an example of accountability for the wider team
  • Builds an inclusive environment: you demonstrate positivity and resilience, earning the trust of those around you, and are supportive of others' goals and motivations
  • Is ambitious for themselves and their teams: you are open to being challenged and are prepared to effectively challenge others in the pursuit of delivering personal and strategic goals

Skills Required

  • Proven experience owning commercial outcomes end-to-end and managing portfolio P&L or performance
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into fast, actionable decisions
  • Experience with data visualization platforms such as Looker
  • Familiarity using machine learning and AI tools to build monitoring or optimisation solutions
  • Experience with digital monetization models (Cost per Lead, Cost per Click, Cost per Appointment)
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence senior stakeholders
  • Ability to build and document processes and mentor less experienced team members

What We Do

MVF powers growth for our clients by connecting them to potential customers. The digital marketing landscape is complex and constantly evolving. Businesses need experts who are tracking that evolution and finding new ways to innovate and win. This is where MVF comes in. We match readers, buyers, & business leaders with the brands & companies that make the products and services they need. We do this by building relationships with potential customers at each stage of the marketing funnel by offering insights, information, and tools to help them learn more about the things they’re interested in. We build profiles on our audiences, guide them through purchase decisions, and ultimately connect them to the right products/services when they are ready to buy. Our clients trust us as experts in lead generation, which frees up their time to do what they do best.

Why Work With Us

Competitive starting base and a lucrative uncapped commission structure. Great work-life balance, Monday – Friday, business hours (9am - 5pm) – it’s not a competition between who leaves the latest, just keep smashing your targets.
