Job Description Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst for Marketing Technologies team will be hired on a maternity cover contract and will be assigned full time to a Global MarTech capability, developed in Sofia. He will be the liaison between various technology teams across the Globe, shaping the processes for requirements gathering and documentation, keeping up with the best practices for Agile Software Development and Lean UX. The Senior Business Analyst must be a great verbal and written communicator, tactful diplomat, problem solver, thinker and analyzer, with the ability to engage with stakeholders to understand and respond to their needs in rapidly changing business environments.

What You’ll Do for Us:

  • Understand business objectives and motivation, often going beyond what is being stated.
  • Elicit and document business and technical requirements (functional and non-functional). Write use cases, user stories or requirements specification documentation (depending on project type).
  • Visualize requirements in form of use case diagrams, story maps, flow-charts or logical-level UML diagrams.
  • Analyze requirements. Search for commonalities and conflicting requirements.
  • Facilitate requirements sign-off, including requirements walk-throughs, requirements workshops.
  • Gain in-depth functional understanding of existing solutions and data flows between platforms. Be able to map business requirements to existing capabilities and identify gaps.
  • Understand key company policies and standards related to personal data processing and security and be able to feed them into solution requirements.
  • Coach agile teams and product owners on user stories specification, help with story discussions and acceptance criteria definition during backlog grooming or sprint planning meetings.
  • Build constructive relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating deliverable requirements and formats
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a business unit team and have strong influencing skills
  • Coach and provide guidance to the Regional Business Analysts

                

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • 7 years of professional experience in IT Delivery organizations
  • Scrum Certificate
  • Business Analysis or Project Management certifications are a plus
