Meet the Team
You will become part of the People Information Systems Team at ESET Headquarters. As a small and collaborative team, we provide internal support for the Workday HR system and drive its ongoing development, optimization, and integration with other business applications. We partner closely with Global People (HR), IT, and stakeholders across the organization to ensure reliable system operations, enhance user experience, and deliver solutions that support business growth and efficiency.
About the Role
As a Senior HR Information Systems Specialist, you will serve as a key expert for Workday, driving system enhancements, process optimization, and the adoption of best practices across the organization.
Partner with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and design effective HR system solutions.
Lead the implementation and optimization of Workday functionality to support business needs.
Drive continuous improvement of HR processes through system enhancements, automation, and best-practice recommendations.
Design, coordinate, and oversee integrations between Workday and other business applications.
Act as a subject matter expert for Workday, providing guidance on system capabilities, configuration, and process improvements.
Lead testing activities for new functionality, releases, and integrations, ensuring high-quality and reliable system delivery.
Provide advanced support and resolution of complex system issues.
Ensure system integrity, data quality, and compliance with internal standards and processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement HR technology roadmaps and strategic initiatives.
Stay current with Workday innovations and industry trends, identifying opportunities to maximize business value and user experience.

Essential Requirements
At least 7 years of experience implementing, administering, or supporting HR information systems.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Workday, including configuration of business processes, security, reports, or other system functionality.
Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
Proven experience gathering and translating business requirements into system solutions.
Experience managing system enhancements, testing, and releases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Fluent English, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level).
Desirable Requirements
Experience with Workday integrations and reporting.
Experience participating in HRIS implementation or transformation projects.
Knowledge of HR data governance and system security principles.
Experience with process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Basic wage component: from 2800 EUR (brutto)
* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
* Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 10% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period (usually 6 months).
