In this role you will- Design, build, and maintain our full product suite, including backend services, mobile applications (React Native), and web products.
- Lead development of high-quality, performant cross-platform mobile experiences while ensuring strong integration with backend and web systems.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, code quality standards, and long-term scalability across mobile and web platforms.
- Mentor and support other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and close collaboration.
- 7+ years of professional, hands-on experience building production-grade software.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with React Native, building mobile applications used by real users in production.
- Experience building modern web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience designing and delivering complex end-to-end systems.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data modeling, APIs (REST/GraphQL), algorithms, software design principles, and modern development best practices.
- Strong system design skills with the ability to balance simplicity, scalability, maintainability, and speed.
- Takes ownership from problem definition through production and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Leverages AI-assisted development and other engineering tools to improve productivity while maintaining high standards for quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Strong attention to detail and Empathy for the user experience.
Skills Required
- 7+ years of professional, hands-on experience building production-grade applications or systems.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with React Native, building mobile applications used in production.
- Experience building end-to-end, complex, large-scale applications.
- Solid fundamentals in data models/structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and development best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and empathy for the user experience.
- Self-motivated, enjoys learning, and able to switch domains as company needs evolve.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience with Docker and AWS.
- Fluency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
