About the Role
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will lead the design and development of vital modules and shared libraries within our Angular ecosystem. You’ll mentor junior developers, influence front-end architecture (including micro-frontends), and help set technical direction to ensure scalability, usability, and code integrity.
Responsibilities
Architect and deliver major features and modules for the Angular (v17+, standalone) application
Lead the development and evolution of the shared UI/npm component library, enforcing best practices
Drive adoption of micro-frontend architecture; coach others in advanced Angular concepts
Set and enforce code quality, testing, and deployment standards across the UI team
Serve as a technical point of contact for integration with backend and DevOps teams
Mentor and support junior/medior team members through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and onboarding
Take active part in Agile/Scrum/SAFE leadership and cross-team coordination
Required Skills
Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and advanced Angular (v17+)
Proven delivery of complex UI modules and shared component libraries
Architectural experience with Angular or similar SPA frameworks, with micro-frontend knowledge
Expert in HTML5, SCSS, responsive and accessible design
Strong command of Git (GitHub), code reviews, and testing (unit, integration)
Excellent collaboration and mentoring skills
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud, Kubernetes deployments, and CI/CD automation (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions)
Node.js proficiency
Experience establishing engineering standards/processes for large teams
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/SAFE in multi-team programs
Location: Brno, Czechia or Bratislava, Slovakia
Working time: EMEA
Hybrid role: minimum 2 days per week in the office
Salary range: Brno: 113 000 CZK to 169 000 CZK gross/a month; Bratislava: 3800 EUR to 5700 EUR gross/a month. The actual salary is based on your skills, experience and knowledge.
