The role of a Senior Finance Analyst is expected to take ownership of preparing reporting schedules, reconciliations, analyses and operational follow-ups to support accurate review and timely decision-making. What will you do:
Propose journals, accruals, and adjustments to support accurate month-end reporting
Support month-end close and FP&A reporting by preparing schedules, reviewing balance sheet accounts and analyzing variances
Follow through on open items across finance and operational stakeholders to support timely resolution.
Review financial postings and ensure accurate cost center and account allocation
Partner with business teams to resolve finance-related concerns
Assist with VAT, tax, statutory reporting, audits, and continuous process improvement initiatives
Support forecast and budget cycles through data consolidation and reporting preparation
Help streamline processes to improve compliance and reporting efficiency
What you will need
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
4-6 years of accounting or finance experience
Experience working with ERP systems and strong Excel skills
Strong cross-functional communicator, able to work through ambiguity and resolve issues proactively
Adaptable with a continuous learning mindset and able to manage fluctuating workloads across busy and quieter periods
Fluency in English
Preferable
Experience supporting tax filings or preparing schedules for advisors
Regional or multi-entity exposure
Experience in a transitioning or shared service environment
Fluency in Arabic is a plus
Professional finance or accounting qualification (completed or in progress) is a plus
