Senior Executive – Consumer Insights & Market Research
Job Description :
- Analyse consumer, shopper, and loyalty data to understand purchasing behaviour, trends, and needs
- Generate insights on customer segments, missions, frequency, basket size, and category performance
- Support the development of shopper profiles and personas to guide marketing and trade strategies
- Develop regular dashboards and reports for key stakeholders (marketing, trade, buying, management)
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and business recommendations
- Support pre- and post-campaign analysis to measure effectiveness of promotions and marketing initiatives
- Support qualitative and quantitative research initiatives (surveys, store feedback, customer studies)
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and shopper dynamics within the supermarket landscape
Work with research agencies and internal teams as required
Candidate Profile :
• Degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
• 3-4 years of experience in consumer insights, analytics, market research, or commercial analysis
• Experience in retail, supermarket, FMCG, or modern trade is strongly preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large and complex data sets
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau preferred)
