This is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role where you'll shape how millions of price-conscious shoppers engage with Ibotta every day.

You'll lead the strategy behind our biggest tentpole campaigns, build the lifecycle engine that drives retention and CLV, and partner closely with Product, Engineering, and our brand partners to push what's possible. This role demands equal parts creative vision and analytical rigor.

What you will be doing:

Integrated Campaigns & Client Activation

  • Lead complex co-branded activations with brand partners, seamlessly weaving their promotions into our owned channels while maximizing value for consumers

  • Own all owned marketing channels:Email, Push, In-App, and Web, with a channel-specific approach to reach, deliverability, and engagement

  • Oversee creative development end-to-end, ensuring every campaign is compelling, brand-right, and rooted in Ibotta's unique value proposition

Lifecycle, Retention & Personalization

  • Own our consumer lifecycle strategy across activation, engagement, retention, loyalty, and win-back through incentive and organic strategies

  • Design and optimize automated, multi-channel user journeys in Braze, personalizing content and offers using rich behavioral data

  • Build sophisticated segmentation models in partnership with marketing analytics to deliver the right message at the right moment

  • Run a high-velocity experimentation engine: rigorous A/B testing across all channels and lifecycle stages, with results that actually get operationalized

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define the marketing technology roadmap while advocating for the features, data, and tooling needed to deliver next-generation personalization

  • Oversee marketing operations: MarTech stack health, data integrity, privacy/opt-out compliance, and campaign execution efficiency

  • Define and report on KPIs that matter: LTV, retention, engagement, channel performance while using Looker to turn data into executive-level strategy

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team that holds itself accountable and keeps raising the bar

  • Embrace and uphold Ibotta’s Core Values: Integrity, Boldness, Ownership, Teamwork, Transparency, & A good idea can come from anywhere

What we are looking for:

  • Experience leading major tentpole or promotional campaigns that move real volume

  • Background managing co-branded marketing with large CPG, retail, or eCommerce partners

  • Proven analytical experience leveraging Looker, defining metrics, and translating complex data into business strategy

  • Experience collaborating on product roadmaps and advocating for marketing within an engineering-driven org

  • A reputation for building great teams and making the people around you better

  • Experience in a rewards, loyalty, or consumer platform preferred

  • Deep fluency in incremental lift measurement and CPG/Retail Media performance metrics preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
