Team Overview
The Enterprise Data Warehouse team within TransUnion Consumer Interactive is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining a large-scale data ecosystem and associated data marts that support both transactional and analytical workloads. The platform processes billions of records and enables decision-making for executive stakeholders.This team plays a critical role in ensuring data availability, reliability, and scalability across enterprise products and analytics. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Manage and maintain deployment pipelines for data warehouse applications and services to ensure consistent, reliable releases
Monitor runtime environments to maintain high availability, system performance, and operational stability
Define and enforce QA and validation standards for ETL/data pipelines to ensure data integrity at scale
Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Partner with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to design and optimize CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) frameworks and automation strategies
Provide technical leadership in design and code reviews, ensuring alignment with architectural standards, operational readiness, and performance requirements
Establish and maintain standardized documentation for deployment, runtime configurations, and incident response to support audit and compliance requirements
Support incident management processes, including monitoring alerts, triaging issues, and meeting defined SLAs
Identify and drive initiatives that improve system reliability, deployment efficiency, and monitoring coverage (e.g., automation, tooling enhancements)
Assist junior developers and contribute to team capability uplift in deployment engineering and operational excellence

- 4-8 years of experience in software development, data engineering, or DevOps-oriented roles; required to independently lead deployment and production support functions
- Deep familiarity with data warehousing architectures and ETL processes; required to ensure performance and data integrity at scale
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; required for foundational system and architecture expertise

- Advanced understanding of CI/CD frameworks and release engineering practices; required to design scalable and reliable deployment pipelines
- Strong experience in system-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis; required to lead resolution of complex production incidents
- Exposure to SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles — supports systemic reliability improvements and error budget management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deployment deadlines in a fast-paced environment
