Job Description:
Senior Customer Development Leader is accountable for delivering business segment objectives and growing the customer’s share of volume by executing sales strategic priorities at the lowest possible cost. As a Senior Customer Development Leader, the role goes beyond delivering annual targets: it is responsible for building customer-centric, long-term partnerships that create sustainable value for the customer, shoppers and the business.
The Senior Customer Development Leader develops and implements comprehensive customer business plans that deliver the Annual Operating Plan within the agreed trade investment framework. This includes translating customer strategy, shopper insights, category opportunities and market trends into clear joint growth priorities, winning commercial initiatives and execution plans.
The role leads cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Category, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Demand Planning to ensure one integrated company agenda for the customer. By aligning internal stakeholders around shared priorities and maintaining senior-level engagement with customer decision-makers, the Senior Customer Development Leader drives high-quality joint business planning, resolves barriers quickly and delivers profitable, sustainable growth.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent;
- 3+ Years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, Category Management for Fast Moving Consumer Good Industries;
- Prior Account Management experience;
- Fluent understanding of CAS forecasting, Nielsen and trade management system.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Full responsibility for the P&L and implementation of the activity customer’s plan, including sales & marketing programs presentation on retailer sites;
- Manages the trade promotion budget at assigned customers in harmony with Mars policies and procedures and within assigned budgets;
- Develops comprehensive customer business plans to deliver all business segment objectives;
- Provides timely information, category expertise and priorities consolidating and reporting on retail feedback on executional issues and opportunities;
- Provides their customer with category information and makes recommendations for Category growth.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- 3+ years' experience in Sales, Marketing, or Category Management for Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
- Prior Account Management experience
