Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Consultant ServiceNow Demand Management role operationalizes the vision and priorities of the Senior Director, CargillNow Experience by leading cross-functional ServiceNow demand management, program coordination, governance, planning, and execution activities that enable successful product delivery and alignment.
This role will lead efforts through influence that will enable change in an organizational context through the creation of the definition of the business needs and the creation of solution recommendations that deliver value to stakeholders. In this role, you will use advanced knowledge of the tasks and techniques that are used to perform complex business analysis such as solution evaluation, strategy analysis, elicitation and collaboration, requirement life cycle management, requirements analysis and design definitions and business analysis planning and monitoring to advance the profitability or efficiency of the business. You will partner effectively with all levels of the organization, guide others, drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems and make challenging decisions to improve business performance.
Key Accountabilities
- Demand Intake & Evaluation: Manage the intake, review, and assessment of CargillNow enhancement requests, functional priorities, integration of "other services", and platform request, ensuring requests are clearly defined and aligned to business objectives.
- Demand Prioritization: Facilitate demand prioritization by evaluating business value, strategic alignment, complexity, dependencies, resource capacity, and platform impact.
- Backlog Management: Maintain and manage the CargillNow demand backlog, ensuring requests are accurately documented, prioritized, and progressed through the demand lifecycle.
- Governance Support: Execute established demand management governance processes, facilitate prioritization discussions, document decisions, and ensure adherence to portfolio standards.
- Roadmap Alignment: Partner with Product Managers to align approved demand with product roadmaps, release planning, and organizational priorities.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Partner with leaders, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to communicate demand decisions, facilitate alignment discussions, manage expectations, and ensure transparency throughout the demand management lifecycle.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics that provide transparency into demand volume, backlog health, prioritization, throughput, and portfolio performance. Support the evaluation of proposed initiatives by documenting expected business outcomes, benefits, and success measures to help prioritize investments that maximize organizational value.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify risks, conflicts, resource constraints, and cross-functional dependencies, facilitating resolution and escalation as appropriate.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve demand management processes, governance practices, templates, and tools to increase efficiency, transparency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional ServiceNow demand management activities across business and technology stakeholders
- Experience managing demand intake, prioritization, backlog management, or portfolio governance processes in an enterprise environment
- Experience gathering, documenting, and translating complex business requirements into actionable recommendations and solution options
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization, influence without direct authority, and drive results through cross-functional collaboration
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting ServiceNow Demand Management, Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
- Experience facilitating prioritization and governance discussions across business and technology stakeholders at multiple organizational levels
- Experience developing executive-level reporting, dashboards, and portfolio performance metrics to support investment prioritization and decision-making
- Experience supporting or leading change management activities in the context of technology platform adoption or process transformation

The expected salary for this position is $97,000 - $140,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
