Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Consultant, Operations- Video Conferencing job leads and reviews configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting any Video, Video Conferencing, and AV technologies, providing technical support to end users and ensuring both hardware and software issues are resolved promptly to minimize downtime for video conferencing across the company. With minimal supervision, this job implements complex security measures to protect client devices from threats and maintain compliance with organizational policies, and deploy new devices and updates to assure a seamless user experience.
Key Accountabilities
  • MONITORING INFRASTRUCTURE PERFORMANCE: Lead and influence the direction in the conference estate for the enterprise where primarily Teams and Zoom technologies are utilized with a mixed estate of Logitech, Crestron and Polycom room systems.
  • TROUBLESHOOTING & RESOLVING ISSUES: Diagnoses and resolves complex network and hosting problems affecting routers, switches, servers, video and communication circuits, including performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • INCIDENT MANAGEMENT: Leads monitoring and responding to video conferencing incidents, outages, and performance alerts, including categorizing issues, and facilitating with technical teams for timely resolution.
  • CONFIGURATION & DEPLOYMENT: Configures and deploys end to end lifecycle management of conference room technology and equipment systems. Including but not limited to roadmaps.
  • COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATION: Partners with vendors, third party service providers, and global teams to resolve complex network issues and improve network performance, providing effective and efficient communication, coordination and timely updates.
  • DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING: Validates the documentation of video conferencing issues, resolutions, and performance trends, reviews and provides reports to stakeholders to inform decision making and improve network operations.
  • BACKUP & DISASTER RECOVERY: Develops and maintains backup and disaster recovery plans for video conferencing to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures or data loss.
  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Leads information technology projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications
  • Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Experience setting up video capabilities such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Logitech, Crestron and/or Polycom

Short Description
Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
The expected salary for this position is $103,000 - $131,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance. At Cargill we put people first.
