At Mondelēz International, we believe in the power of snacks. With iconic brands like Marabou, Oreo, Philadelphia, Daim and more, we're leading the future of snacking with purpose and pride. We're looking for passionate individuals who are ready to make an impact, grow their careers, and shape the future of our business.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team in Upplands Väsby. This is a critical and strategic role where you won't just report numbers - you'll drive insight, influence decisions, and partner with our commercial teams to optimize performance and achieve ambitious growth targets. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love translating complex data into actionable strategies, and are ready to contribute to the success of beloved brands, this opportunity is for you!
What You'll Do:
As a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be at the heart of our commercial strategy, acting as a trusted advisor and financial expert. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Driving Financial Performance & Reporting: Lead the development of robust budgets and plans for our commercial functions, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment. You will manage the precise and timely execution of month, quarter, and year-end closing processes. Beyond the numbers, you'll conduct in-depth variance analysis, uncover root causes, and prepare and present clear, actionable internal reports to management, highlighting key insights, risks, and opportunities, ultimately providing strategic recommendations.
  • Being a Strategic Business Partner: Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams, offering insightful financial perspectives that challenge assumptions and influence key commercial decisions. You'll effectively present complex financial findings to senior non-finance stakeholders, fostering financial acumen across departments.
  • Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies. Support the commercial team through internal and external audits.

  • Uncovering Key Insights & Optimization: Conduct comprehensive analysis of pricing strategies, promotional effectiveness, and customer profitability to identify growth opportunities and efficiency gains. You'll lead the financial evaluation, assessing viability and ROI, and provide expert modeling for significant commercial contract negotiations.
  • Enhancing Reporting & Analytics: Design and deliver sophisticated financial reports and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights into sales performance, margin analysis, and trade spend. You'll develop and refine advanced financial models, including scenario planning, to analyze business trends and identify strategic opportunities.
  • Leading Projects & Continuous Improvement: Take the lead on complex ad-hoc analyses and special projects, delivering thorough research and well-reasoned conclusions. You'll also drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function, including process enhancements and system optimizations.

What You'll Bring:
  • Education: Master's or bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. A professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive finance experience, with a significant focus on commercial finance, FP&A, ideally within a Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment. Proven advanced experience in budgeting, forecasting, and sophisticated financial modeling.
  • Technical Acumen: Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, VBA, advanced modeling). Strong experience with financial planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, SAC, Oracle). Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills: A self-starter with superior analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and strategic thinking. Exceptional communication, influencing, and presentation skills, capable of translating complex financial data into compelling narratives for various audiences, including senior management. Ability to work autonomously, manage complex projects, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English is a requirement, Swedish is preferred.
