We’re looking for a Senior Integration & Business Process Engineer to design, build, and optimize Business Process Automation (BPA) solutions and system integrations using ProcessMaker. In this role, you’ll combine backend development, API integrations, and workflow design to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions that drive measurable operational improvements for our customers.
What You’ll Do- Deliver BPA and integration solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions that produce measurable improvements in efficiency and reliability.
- Design and configure workflows, forms, and robust integrations with external systems, using technologies such as:
- HTTP / REST APIs
- SOAP / XML integrations
- Develop and maintain backend components using PHP and the Laravel framework, applying solid programming principles (deep framework expertise is not required).
- Implement API authentication mechanisms (API keys, OAuth, tokens) and handle data transformations using JSON and XML.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and workflow issues efficiently to minimize customer impact.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Leads, Project Managers, and customers to refine requirements and ensure successful delivery.
- Document integration designs, workflows, and technical decisions clearly.
- Recommend product and process improvements based on customer feedback and real-world usage.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field (completed or in progress).
- Experience in backend software development using PHP, preferably with Laravel.
- Experience building and consuming integrations via web services, including REST APIs and SOAP/XML.
- Solid understanding of API design and integration patterns, including error handling, retries, and edge-case management.
- Experience using Git for version control, with collaboration through GitHub.
- Ability to understand customer and business requirements and translate them into effective technical deliverables.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience or familiarity with Business Process Automation (BPA) concepts and/or BPMN-based workflows.
- Front-end development experience with Vue.js.
- Familiarity with frontend libraries such as Axios for API consumption.
- Experience with webhooks, asynchronous processing, or background jobs.
- Familiarity with SFTP or file-based integrations.
- Experience integrating with third-party SaaS platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP, DMS)
