Greenlight is the leading family fintech company on a mission to help parents raise financially smart kids. We proudly serve more than 6 million parents and kids with our award-winning banking app for families. With Greenlight, parents can automate allowance, manage chores, set flexible spend controls, and invest for their family’s future. Kids and teens learn to earn, save, spend wisely, and invest.

At Greenlight, we believe every child should have the opportunity to become financially healthy and happy. It’s no small task, and that’s why we leap out of bed every morning to come to work. Because creating a better, brighter future for the next generation depends on it.

Reporting to the Director of Business Operations, you’ll help drive strategic execution across Greenlight’s initiatives. You will sit at the intersection of operations, analytics, finance, product management, and go-to-market, working closely with internal stakeholders to identify and solve complex strategic and operational business problems.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a high growth fast paced environment and has owned major strategic and operational initiatives from end to end. We’re looking for someone who is highly strategic, analytical and structured, has strong EQ, and can execute flawlessly.

Your day-to-day:

  • Own and drive strategic, cross-functional initiatives that are critical to company growth and operational efficiency: from unearthing data and insights through analysis to designing a solution that weighs customer impact with cost and operational complexity to working with cross functional teams to implement the solution, to designing the metrics and dashboards to measure KPIs to know if the initiative is performing as expected.
  • Serve as the connective tissue in cross-functional teams (including Product Management, Customer Operations, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Risk Management), driving people towards actionable results across key initiatives
  • Develop and maintain key management dashboards of operational KPIs, partnering with Finance and Data teams to standardize and distribute key operating metrics
  • Work with functions and Leadership team to proactively and reactively address emerging issues; proactively come up with solutions and mobilize resources to remove blockers to hitting our business priorities
  • Apply strategy and operations experience to drive process improvements
  • Work with leadership team to establish feedback loop that prioritizes key goals and organizational priorities

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 7+ years experience working in fast-paced dynamic environments such as growth/late stage startups or management consulting. Financial services experience a plus
  • Self-starter with ability to act and drive initiatives without clear specific direction
  • Strong project-management and organization skills, and can lead cross-functional teams to get things done
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize strategic insights in an actionable and compelling manner
  • A proven commercial sense, i.e., be able to connect a course of action that impacts our top or bottom line figures and other leading indicators of business performance
  • Ability to forge strong relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions including the ability to structure problems for analysis

  • Not sure this one’s for you? Don’t count yourself out. Show us what you’ve got and we’ll reach out if there’s a great fit.
