Responsibilities
Bridge client statement / data with RGA administration system accurately and in a timely manner
Interpret client statement / data into RGA terms accurately and in a timely manner.
Create technical code in Python and/or SQL to automate interpretation for future inventories via the mapping process
Execute monthly closing checks to ensure all required actions have been done accurately and completely
Guide junior business analyst in their daily tasks surrounding statement processing including validating script output and troubleshooting.
Lead and contribute towards ad-hoc projects within statement processing scope.
Review treaty content from admin's perspective and prepare a treaty summary record for team’s future use
Troubleshoot issues within RGA systems and provide recommendations for resolution
Actively provide constructive suggestions on daily processes for operational efficiency
Actively involved in team discussion and be able to effectively communicate with other local functions
General Requirements:
University degree or above in actuarial science, mathematics, statistic, information technology, accounting or other related disciplines
Client-focused and target driven
A good team player who can also work on own initiative
Logical thinking, attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to cope with multi tasks at the same time, work under pressure and prioritize them based on team's goal
A positive attitude in dealing with people and different types of tasks
Specific Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of working experience in Finance, Information technology, Insurance or Reinsurance industry
Understanding of Oracle SQL and Python; prior experience on Toad would be a plus
Access and Excel skill (including but not limited to VLOOKUP, write/edit VBA)
Intellectual curiosity and the desire to learn
