Job Description SummaryThe Senior ATD Engineer will drive advanced MR application design and integration together with cross function engineering team in activities related to MRI product development through product definition, algorithm design, clinical image review, system validation etc.. This role offers hands-on experience in medical imaging technology and cross-functional collaboration within local and global teams.
Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with engineering team of algorithm and clinical experts on developing impactful MRI applications across field strengths and platforms.
  • Define MR applications development roadmap according to local and global customer needs.
  • Stay informed of advances MR technology and clinical needs to define China innovation team priorities.
  • Manage clinical data, including archiving, loading, and extracting key details for analysis and reporting.
  • Contribute to image review and other clinical validation activities.

Required Qualifications

  • M.S. or higher degree from the radiography background with more than 10-year experience.
  • Minimum of 5-year experience in MR imaging research or a closely related healthcare field.
  • Minimum of 5-year experience in industrial R&D, product development, or equivalent.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English & Chinese.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated innovation in MR physics, pulse sequence development, reconstruction methods, image data analysis, or creation of new MR imaging applications.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MRI.
  • Previous experience with GE HealthCare MR systems.
