About this opportunity:
PEU Radio Pacific (RP) is end-to-end responsible for product development from F0 until maintenance of radio products developed in China. We are an R&D organization known of innovation by leveraging ecosystem, Execution excellence, Accountability mindset and Speak-up culture.
As an Operations Lead, you will report to the Manager of Operations within the RP Project Office and play a key role in driving communication, governance and operational excellence initiatives across RP. You will work closely with stakeholders in Beijing and Chengdu, as well as global and hosted units, to enhance transparency, engagement, and efficiency in how we operate.
What you will do:
- Drive communication, governance and operational excellence initiatives across RP, aligning with sector priorities and One Ericsson ways of working.
- Shape and communicate RP's value and achievements: translate complex program and operations topics into clear, engaging narratives for different audiences (leaders, teams, hosted units). .
- Plan and deliver internal communication and engagement campaigns (e.g. newsletters, intranet stories, townhalls, RP updates, success stories) to enhance RP's exposure.
- Create and curate communication assets such as articles, presentations, infographics or short videos together with relevant stakeholders and corporate communication teams where needed.
- Improve operational efficiency through AI, digitalization and process optimization, identifying opportunities and implementing practical solutions.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across RP, global teams and hosted units, facilitating alignment and issue resolution.
- Coordinate EGMS compliance, internal audits and related improvement actions to ensure robust governance and adherence to standards.
The skills you bring:
- Experience in driving change initiatives and continuous improvement activities, preferably within R&D or project-driven organizations.
- Background in communications, media, journalism, marketing or similar。
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and content development skills: able to turn complex operational and program information into clear, compelling narratives and visual materials.
- Hands-on experience planning and executing internal communication or engagement activities.
- Good understanding of digital channels and tools for internal communication, and interest in using AI and digitalization to improve communication and operations.
- Strong sense of accountability and a can-do attitude, motivated to overcome challenges and surpass customer expectations.
- Customer-focused, end-to-end mindset; able to see the big picture while ensuring delivery with agility and speed.
- Big-picture / One Ericsson perspective with a collaborative mindset, comfortable working across teams and geographies.
- Previous exposure to the ICT or other high-tech industries is a strong plus.
