We are seeking a finance professional to join our general partner accounting group / compensation planning and analysis team as a Senior Associate / Assistant Vice President in NY. You will work closely with a team of three others while reporting to a key contributor with extensive experience in technology and fund administration solutions. The role focuses on managing employee co-investment partnerships and carried interest structures, in concert with our 3rd party administrators, Apogem fund administrators, and technology team. This is onsite role offering a dynamic blend of strategic oversight of fund administrators and hands-on execution with high visibility to senior management and investment professionals. Apogem has several US offices and travel to another office may be needed periodically (up to four times a year).
What You'll Do:
- Primary accounting operations lead on a portfolio of GP entities related to employee co-investments and incentive fee programs with a focus on exceptional client experience
- Collaborate with a small, agile team to ensure accuracy and compliance with capital activity, capital statements, tax reporting, and investment reporting
- Utilize Apogem's technology stack of applications: FIS (DX and Private Capital Suite Live), Anduin, Snowflake, Deal Cloud, and iLevel. Incorporate advanced Excel and Access techniques to manage and streamline reporting and drive process improvements
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support investment structuring and performance tracking
- Contribute to Apogem's culture and building on our collaborative environment
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree required; an advanced certification or degree a plus (e.g., CPA)
- Two to five years of fund accounting experience within private equity on general partnership accounting
- Experience with FIS suite (PCS Live, Query Manager, and DX) and Excel, including macros and automation tools
- Working with or for a 3rd party fund administrator
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail; excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred:
- CPA with experience with data migration and data integration projects
- Familiarity with AI tools: ChatGPT and Co-Pilot
- Familiarity with Anduin, Deal Cloud, iLevel, SharePoint, and Snowflake

Salary range: $105,000 - $125,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
