Key Responsibilities:
- Aggregate and analyze data from a variety of sources, transforming raw data into actionable, organized, and easily digestible insights to support business analysis.
- Conduct analytics and quantitative reviews based on economic, consumer, vehicle sales, credit, pricing, and survey data.
- Collaborate with analysts, economists, and subject matter experts across Cox Automotive's Economic Industry Insights team.
- Prepare insightful reports with clear visualizations to communicate key findings and trends.
- Develop and refine methods for automating data collection, transformation, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Contribute to the development of data set specifications and continuous improvements to ensure that analytics products remain valuable and innovative.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team objectives and strategic goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years' experience in a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Market Research, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of analytics, statistics, or visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Python, R.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data analysis, statistics, and modeling (e.g., linear regression forecasting, correlation, clustering, driver analysis, goodness of fitness, etc.).
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into conceptual and logical models.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate, influence, and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- The ability to thrive in a team environment contributes to team success and remains flexible while learning new skills from other disciplines.
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus but not required.

- This position reports to the Senior Director, Economic & Industry Insights.

- Economic Industry Insights Team, Research and Market Intelligence Team, Product and Technology Teams, Public Relations, Strategy, and Sales teams.
USD 87,200.00 - 130,800.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $87,200.00 - $130,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
