Senior Analyst, Data and Analytics
The Senior Analyst for EU Analytics team is part of the GQO Analytics team and is responsible for IT systems, business analytics, master data management across EMEA Commercial Operations (Customer Service, Warehousing, Supply Chain and Asset/Kit Management) and EMEA Logistics Solutions (GQO).
The role is key in central and cross-regional projects/programs aimed at designing and deploying new operations capabilities with focus on IT, reporting and analytics, but may also include integration of acquired businesses and business performance improvements for the EMEA Operations function.
The role will interact with key functional and business managers across Europe and globally.
What you will do:
Digital Innovation and Analytics
- Contribute in Operations programs and projects from the business side, with a primary focus on building operations capabilities within the areas of ERP and enabling tools (Oracle EBS, Salesforce, etc); business intelligence and reporting; supporting technology (EDI, RPA, etc.) and data management linked to the vision and objectives of the EMEA Operations function.
- Building strong collaborative relationships with the Ops functional groups, SME’s and Product owners, IS Teams and external suppliers to deliver successful outcomes
- Responsible for the governance and maintenance of ERP master data, data quality, policies and rules.
- Responsible to establish state of the art Analytics (BI) capabilities across the EMEA Operations function team to ensure consistency in operations management and service delivery across all franchises.
- Engage in the full cycle of project delivery process i.e. requirement, design, build, test, go live, and support for changes/enhancements to new or existing tools and applications.
- Design and implement automated reporting dashboards, data sets, flows and connections to support self-service analytics across multiple segments of the business.
- Support culture of continuous improvement by enhancing existing databases, data collection methods, statistical methods, technology, procedures, and training.
Operations Excellence
- Supports and drives Operational Excellence within EMEA Operations by standardizing and implementing robust, scalable and lean processes including clear roles and responsibilities, KPI’s and metrics.
- Supports Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives.
- Works closely with the Europe Operations Leadership team on enhancing the Management Operations Systems to influence organization excellence.
What you will need:
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering or related field, alternatively equivalent work experience.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in Software development, Database administration, data modelling and programming, IT or Operations with focus on operations BI, reporting and analytics, ERP implementation, change management and development, master data management.
- Experience with BI and Analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, DAX, T-SQL, SQL Server, VBA and Excel
- Hands on experience with tools and techniques such as OLTP, MDX, SSAS, ETL, MS Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate), Salesforce Platform (Apex, JavaScript, HTML), Cognos Report Studio, ERP systems (Oracle and/or SAP preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Experience from the medical device industry with knowledge of regulation, legacy process and quality systems.
Skills Required
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4 to 7 years experience in software development, database administration, data modelling, programming, IT or Operations with focus on operations BI and ERP
- Experience with BI and analytics tools: PowerBI, Tableau, DAX, T-SQL, SQL Server, VBA and advanced Excel
