Meet the Team

Are you ready to lead the charge in the constantly evolving security landscape? You will join a high-impact team of domain security subject matter experts dedicated to evangelising and advancing the Splunk Security brand and go-to-market strategy. We act as a critical bridge between global product teams and regional markets, collaborating closely with Cisco and Splunk sales leaders to drive innovation. Our small, agile team thrives on cross-functional collaboration, interfacing with sales, customer success, and product management to deliver real results. It is an incredibly exciting time to help our customers navigate what’s next in security technology.

Your Impact

In this role, you will champion the adoption of Splunk security solutions by executing targeted growth initiatives and sales plays, both internally and externally. You will collaborate closely with regional sales and technical teams to cultivate robust sales pipelines and secure long-term account success. Your work will also involve developing strategic content, including maturity models and white papers, that clearly articulates the real-world value of our security portfolio. By leveraging regional business metrics and forecasts, you will provide critical insights to guide leadership decisions, while simultaneously representing our security vision at industry events to elevate our market presence.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of technical sales, product, or practitioner experience within the security industry.

  • Demonstrated experience with modern security technologies, including SIEM, SOAR, and UEBA.

  • Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, CSC CIS, OTel, and DORA.

  • Willingness to travel for industry events, customer meetings, and functional gatherings.

  • Proven ability to work effectively within a globally dispersed, remote organisation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in driving complex security sales cycles, specifically within the Italian market.

  • Strong background in sales strategy, pipeline management, and executing regionally tailored campaigns.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide thought leadership to large audiences.

  • Demonstrated success in analyzing and reporting on business metrics and renewal forecasts.
