About the job:Monitoring and triaging alerts from security platforms, including SIEM, endpoint protection, identity, cloud, email, and network security tools.
Investigating suspicious activities, analyzing security events, and documenting findings.
Supporting incident response activities, including containment, recovery, and post-incident follow-up.
Collaborating with managed security service providers and internal IT teams to resolve security issues.
Conducting threat intelligence research and assisting with vulnerability management activities.
Contributing to the improvement of security procedures, playbooks, and detection capabilities.
Leveraging AI and automation tools responsibly to enhance security operations and investigation efficiency.
About you:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
1-2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, IT security, incident response, or a related technical role.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles, attack techniques, and security monitoring practices.
Experience reviewing security alerts, logs, and investigating potential threats.
Familiarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR, identity security, email security, vulnerability management, and case management platforms.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
Experience supporting a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Exposure to Microsoft security technologies such as Entra ID, Defender, Intune, or Purview.
Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, or CIS Controls.
Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, Microsoft Security Operations Analyst, or equivalent.
