We are looking for a Junior QA Automation Engineer to strengthen our ambitious testing team in Kaunas, Lithuania to help us become a global leader in developing and manufacturing unique IoT solutions that help people.

Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for WebUI, API and hardware-integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify, reproduce and document software and hardware defects.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze and evaluate automated test runs (smoke, regression, nightly pipelines) to ensure product quality.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot test failures, fixing unstable, outdated or broken test cases to maintain high test-suite reliability.
  • Identify, document and track defects with clear reproduction steps and test evidence.
  • Provide clear documentation for automation changes, test coverage, test results, and identified issues.
  • Participate in test strategy discussions, offering insights on automation improvements, tooling, and best practices.

What we expect of you:

  • Have 1 year of experience with front-end or back-end testing.
  • Have hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Appium).
  • Familiar with Python programming language.
  • Demonstrate solid problem-solving, communication, and test failure analysis skills.
  • Can write, structured, and detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation.
  • Are proactive – you take initiative and seek opportunities to improve test coverage, processes, and pipeline stability.
  • Have foundational knowledge and practical experience with computer networks.
  • Are comfortable working with Git and modern version control practices.
  • Show strong attention to detail and take ownership of product quality.
  • Are proficient in English (B2 or higher).

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 12 Eur/h up to 20 Eur/h (~2004 Eur— 3340 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
