At Ubiquiti, you’ll heighten your potential and broaden your horizons - all while shaping the future of connectivity.
About the role:
You would work on real hardware, not simulators: racks of pre-release APs and switches, RF test equipment, and the automation that gates every release. You will spend your time finding out why a link negotiated at 100M instead of 10G, why a client did not roam cleanly between APs, or why PoE came up wrong after a reboot, and then building the automated test that catches it next time.
Responsibilities:
- Validate WiFi and switching firmware on pre-release hardware in our lab;
- Build and maintain the automated test suites that gate firmware releases;
- Investigate failures down to root cause and escalate to firmware owners with evidence;
- Turn each recurring field issue into permanent regression coverage;
- Extend our lab tooling and CI pipelines.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with Python;
- Solid networking fundamentals: VLANs, routing, WiFi, firewalls;
- Experience with CI (Jenkins or similar) and Linux/Bash;
- Experience with AI tools - Claude, Codex, etc;
- Fluent in English and Lithuanian;
- Based in or willing to relocate to Kaunas, as this role needs hands on hardware!
Nice to have:
- Experience with Jenkins DSL (Groovy), JavaScript, Terraform;
- Network or system administration background;
- Embedded or hardware test experience;
- RF or wireless testing background.
Benefits:
- International work environment and work with global development teams;
- Ability to deliver software that is used by millions of people across the globe;
- Opportunity to leverage and integrate modern AI tools into product development;
- Access to all Ubiquiti products;
- Medical insurance;
- Hybrid approach - office in Kaunas;
- Flexible work hours;
- Compensation package matching global standards, including competitive salary depending on your qualification and background (starting from 3500 up to 5000 Euro gross monthly);
- A-class office with all the necessities - snacks, drinks, free lunches, free parking, etc!
