Job Title: Modeling and Simulation Scientist
Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and driven Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support product development projects and create innovative simulation methods for complex problems
Reports to: Sr Manager, Modeling and Simulation
Key Responsibilities
Create designs using DfAM methodology and apply topology optimization
Perform CFD (Fluid flow & Heat transfer), Finite element analysis and related simulations as required
Work with AM team to optimize designs based on printability and understand printing failure modes related to Design
Work with Simulation team to validate simulation results with experimental data and continuously refine models
Collaborate with Business units, CTO office product development teams on design requirements, specifications for new product development
Create detailed technical reports and presentations to communicate outcomes and insights with engineering and management teams
Requisite Criteria & Skills
Master’s or PhD degree in Mechanical/Chemical /Materials Science engineering
1 to 3 years of industrial experience preferably in Semiconductor, Aerospace, or Oil & Gas
A strong background in Heat transfer, Fluid dynamics, Mechanics, and Design
Excellent skills in CAD [nTopology, Solidwotks, Creo, Spaceclaim, Rhino 3D], geometry preparation for simulations
Minimum of 1 year experience with CFD, FEM, using Ansys/Abaqus/Comsol or similar programs
Programming skills ( Python, Matlab or C++)
Any other experience with 1D modeling, system modeling and Digital twins would be considered favorable
Knowledge of Computational physics, Machine learning and AI tools

Skills Required
