We are now looking to recruit an Accountant for IKEA Services (Vietnam) Co., to join our exciting journey! As an Accountant, you will work closely with the Chief Accountant and the accounting services team to deliver financial information that is timely, accurate, relevant, comparable, and understandable. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in implementing and improving internal controls concerning financial processes.

Job Description- Responsible for entire periodical closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards and Inter IKEA Group GAAP, such as:
- Ensure timely closing of accounting books and reconciliations among sources for all accounts: Banks, depreciation, prepayment, payables and accruals, etc.
- A speaking partner with other departments to secure input data (payrolls, indirect procurement is majority)
- Secure precise invoicing process and revenue recognition timely (100% revenue is for intercompany)
- Analysing variances, performing FX revaluations, reconciling intercompany balances and transactions.
- Prepare periodical reports for internal and external and proactive in identify gap of control deficiency and offer solution.
- Support Chief Accountant in oversee taxes (Corporate Income Tax, Valued Added Tax and Withholding Tax) including prepare accurate tax provisions schedules, returns, and reports timely while maintaining the company’s tax database and assist in CIT data.
- Daily activities will be surrounding oversee tasks performed by external outsourced firm and automated indirect procurement and payment systems, aim to secure the end-to-end process of invoice management, including receipt, verification, and accurate recording for timely payments.
- Deliver the non-current asset accounting, including fixed asset depreciation, disposal and amortization, physical count and ensure that the asset reports reflect the asset portfolio correctly.
- Act as a checkpoint for financial manual controls and identify and contribute to address gaps.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by team leader and manager.
- 3-4 years’ experience in accounting (experience in accounting service/Big4 firm is a plus)
- Degree or related certified professional qualifications in Accounting/Tax/Finance
- Knowledge of Tax regulations and Accounting Standards.
- Analytical, structured, systematic with the ability to see the total holistic picture and at the same time pay attention to details.
- Ability to comply with external legal framework and follow internal rules/instructions. Service minded.
- Ability to work with problem solving, flexible, adaptable and take the initiative for improvements.
- High commitment, work ethic and integrity.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize deliverables, work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
