- The Professional, Software Engineering job maintains and partners to design and develop software applications and systems. With limited supervision, this job collaborates with cross functional teams to implement new software features to meet user needs and business goals and upgrade existing software to improve performance and functionality through writing clean, efficient and scalable code and troubleshooting and debugging moderately complex issues. This job also participates in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with software engineering team members.
Key Accountabilities
- TEST EXECUTION: Execute testing lifecycle for SAP projects (ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori). Implement test strategies for Unit, SIT, UAT, Regression, and Performance Testing. Coordinate with functional and technical teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Manage defect lifecycle, test progress tracking, and reporting. Facilitate UAT with business stakeholders and conduct testing kick-offs. Develop Manual and Automation test cases and scenario's. Good knowledge of test management software like Tricentis qTest, OpenText UFT one.
- AUTOMATION: Implement defined automation frameworks using Tricentis TOSCA. Ensure reusability, maintainability, and scalability of automated test scripts. Integrate TOSCA with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Monitor automation coverage and effectiveness.
- COLLABORATION: Work closely with ERP, BI, and DevOps teams to align automation with business goals. Partners with cross functional team of product managers, designers and different engineers to gather complex requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Establish best practices, governance, and usage guidelines for TOSCA.
- TESTING & DEBUGGING: Writes and maintains complex unit tests and integration tests, and performs debugging to maintain the quality and performance of the software. Proven experience in SAP testing and debugging (SAP GUI, Fiori, WebDynpro).
- CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Suggests options for improving the software development and deployment processes, and implements the approved standards to improve efficiency and reliability.
- DOCUMENTATION: Builds and maintains comprehensive documentation for all integrated testing tools, deployment processes and system configurations.
- OPERATIONAL & TOOLS: Experience in SAP testing (SAP GUI, Fiori, WebDynpro). Strong understanding of SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, PP, HR, IS-U). Experience with test management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, SAP Solution Manager). Expertise in TOSCA modules: Test Case Design, API Scan, TDM, DEX.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Engineering. Minimum requirement of 5 years of overall IT experience in Software Testing and Automation tools.
