An SAP Basis Administrator with around 2 years of experience supports the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP systems across NALA landscapes (DEV/QA/PRD). The role focuses on daily operations, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and assisting with upgrades and patches.
Key Responsibilities :
System Administration & Monitoring
- Perform daily health checks on SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, EWM)
- Monitor system performance, background jobs, work processes, and system logs
- Manage user administration, roles, and authorizations (basic level)
- Support transport management across landscapes
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Analyze and resolve SAP Basis issues related to performance, connectivity, and system errors
- Work with SAP OSS for incident resolution
- Support application teams during functional testing and deployments
System Maintenance
- Assist in applying SAP Notes, kernel upgrades, and support packages
- Support database administration tasks for S4 systems under senior guidance
- Perform client copies, system refreshes, and basic configuration tasks
CALM Monitoring Tools
- Help configure and maintain CALM for system monitoring and EWA reports
- Support integration with monitoring tools (e.g., CCMS, third‑party tools
Security & Compliance
- Ensure systems follow security standards and audit requirements
- Support patching and vulnerability remediation activities
Collaboration
- Work closely with functional, development, and infrastructure teams
- Participate in on‑call rotation or weekend maintenance windows as required
Core Technical Skills:
- SAP Basis Administration: Experience with SAP NetWeaver, client copies, system refreshes, and transport management system (TMS).
- Database Management: Strong skills in SAP HANA (highly preferred), Oracle, or MaxDB.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Linux (highly preferred), Unix, or Windows Server administration.
- SAP Components: Knowledge of S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP EWM, BW/4HANA, SAP CALM, and SAP Fiori.
- Cloud Experience: Familiarity with SAP RISE, BTP, and hyperscalers (AWS-preferred, Azure, GCP) is required.
Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $86,900 to $119,515; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
