You will manage the overall financial integrity and performance of a country, category, Supply Chain or FP&A. You will help directors prepare business proposals, verify assumptions, check for daily execution and support delivery of the business unit or region objectives, ensuring the integrity and timeliness of reporting. You will also manage a Finance team and may manage a third party team.
How you will contribute
You will:
  • Support Procurement Operations for North American Ventures (NAV) by delivering cost optimization through key commodities and forex planning, as well as productivity initiatives, representing approximately 60% of the cost base.
  • Ensure that Raw & Pack planning, commodity strategies, and the productivity project pipeline are achievable, probable, and aligned with the company's strategic plans and Global Procurement objectives.
  • Partner with the NAV Procurement and NAV Finance teams to ensure that financial data and insights regarding commodities, hedging, and raw and pack materials are incorporated into business decisions.
  • Lead the monthly planning process for commodity financial impacts and raw and pack materials financial estimates as part of overall cost planning. Partner with the NAV Finance team to monitor actual results and perform variance analysis.
  • Ensure that processes within the area are both efficient and effective for each of the ventures teams.
  • Collaborate with the Risk Management and Internal Controls team to maintain high control standards.

More about this role
We are looking for a Sr. Manager Finance, Procurement NA Ventures who will support the Procurement organization for the North America Ventures business. This leader will partner with Procurement team, Ventures Finance team and Commodity Price Risk Management team, ensuring best possible decisions to drive business results and strategic agenda for the function.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Procurement Operations NAV team to drive optimization of Raw and Pack planning and strategic sourcing to create fuel for investments. Co-responsible for sustainably delivering productivity agenda. This is critical given geo-political and economic volatility.
  • Business partner with various stakeholders including Procurement Operations, CPRM (Commodity Price Risk Management), Supply Chain Strategy, Commercial and Commercial Finance teams to ensure that Procurement strategies and financial information are reflected in the key decisions to drive the business growth.
  • Partner with the CPRM team (Commodity Price Risk Management) and Treasury Global team to scope and value strategies to hedge commodities and foreign exchange to minimize exposure and risk for the company.
  • Control the areas of Procurement for NAV to ensure accurate reporting and drive commodities/forex inflation and productivity planning.
  • Lead forecasting cycles across for commodities/forex and raw and pack materials for NA Ventures team through stakeholders' alignment (e.g. Procurement Operations, Ventures Finance teams) managing relevant stakeholders, planning tools, presentations and reports. This includes financial forecast as we as Commodities/Forex estimates.
  • Drive continuous improvement within Procurement Finance space with the focus on transparency, clarity, automation, standardization, efficiency, speed.
  • Co-Design and manage processes within the area to ensure that they are both efficient and effective in protecting company's financial health.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, Masters/CPA preferred
  • 7 or more years of Finance management experience is required, including 5 years of leading finance teams
  • Prior Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) experience
  • Knowledge of Supply chain operations, decision making, inputs and outcomes
  • Strong technical skills required (e.g. ERP systems, Business reporting and consolidation tools, business analysis software, Excel)
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Outstanding leadership skills with previous management experience required
  • Strong team player who manages collaboratively with all stakeholders
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, and ability to lead teams

Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $140,300 to $192,940; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
