Job Description
Salesforce Engineer
Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Noida, India
As a Salesforce Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy innovative Salesforce solutions that support Rockwell Automation’s customer engagement and digital transformation initiatives. You will report to the Technical Leader and work in a hybrid capacity from our Pune, India office. You will collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications across Salesforce Cloud platforms.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Have knowledge oof Salesforce Experience Cloud Module.
- Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools like MuleSoft.
- Participate in solution design with architects and business analysts, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT to ensure solution quality.
- Contribute to release planning, deployment, and documentation using tools like GitHub, Gearset, and OwnBackup.
The Essentials – You Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Salesforce developer.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD practices.
The Preferred – You Might Also Have:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Developer I & II).
- Experience with CTI integration, email automation, and knowledge management.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud.
