Role Description: Salesforce Developer 

 

Role Purpose: 


As a Senior Developer, your role involves leading the design and development of custom software applications to meet crucial business needs. You'll collaborate closely with the VP of IT, System Engineers, Project Managers, Product Team, and Business Analysts to create and maintain systems as planned. Your focus includes fostering continuous learning within the development team to enhance skills and practices. 


This role requires a strategic mindset, comprehending the intricate relationship among mission-critical applications, Wasabi Salesforce design, and aligning them with the organization's long-term objectives. As a thought leader on the team, you'll decipher the broader ecosystem's architecture and translate it into innovative design decisions benefiting all applications and team members. You will also have responsibility to hands-on deliver on these designs giving you end to end accountability for building valuable business capabilities for Sales, Marketing, Finance, Support, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement robust Salesforce solutions using APEX, Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions within Salesforce. 
  • Configure and customize Sales Cloud, CPQ, Revenue Cloud, and billing/invoice processes to optimize efficiency and scalability. 
  • Drive innovation by recommending best practices, new tools, and methodologies to enhance Salesforce capabilities. 
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within Salesforce systems. 
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior developers or team members. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Salesforce Developer with a focus on APEX, Visualforce, and Salesforce configuration. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Sales Cloud, CPQ, Revenue Cloud, and utilizing Salesforce for billing and invoicing within a SaaS environment. 
  • Strong understanding of business metrics and the ability to align Salesforce solutions with business objectives. 
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams. 
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are highly preferred. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
