As a Salesforce Developer at JumpCloud, you will take ownership of the technical solutions that power our business. Based in India, you will be responsible for the cross-system design, integration architecture, and long-term health of our Salesforce platform primarily and its connections to the wider system landscape at Jumpcloud. You will tackle complex technical challenges, from high-volume data migrations to intricate debugging, ensuring our systems are scalable, maintainable, and robust. This is a role for a developer who thinks in terms of architecture, performance, transformation into systems of context and last but not the least business impact.
About the Team:We are a highly collaborative, globally distributed Enterprise Systems Engineering team responsible for the reliability of our core enterprise applications. What you’ll be doing:
Support Design and Architecture: Contribute to design conversations and implement specifications for components, interfaces, and services that span multiple systems including Salesforce, Mulesoft and NetSuite. You will be expected to understand our integration architecture and its dependencies.
Participate in Projects: Contribute to features or modules for projects involving multiple enterprise systems or complex integrations, advocating for the right tradeoffs between delivery speed and feature completeness.
Develop and Innovate: Find innovative solutions to complex system problems, such as high-volume data migration or synchronization. You will write clean, scalable, robust and maintainable code for the Salesforce platform.
Finance Systems: Provide the required guidance for running the Finance workflows that include working knowledge of NetSuite and the various tasks involved in a B2B SaaS company’s finance operations.
Own System Quality and Performance: Champion quality throughout the team by unit testing comprehensively across internal systems. You will lead the investigation and debugging of unexpected cross-system behavior.
Accelerate and Elevate with AI: Employ AI-powered tools to boost development velocity by generating and optimizing code, enhance quality assurance by assisting in code reviews, and maintain clear standards by automating documentation.
Transformation Mindset: Take an ownership stake in the functional objective of the team by creating automated tasks, ensuring data quality, develop preemptive interventions and prepare the CRM delivery to meet the changing landscape through systems of context.
We’re looking for:
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and declarative automation tools.
A strong grasp of multiple systems in our landscape (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, MuleSoft) and their interdependencies especially within the Finance undertakings of a B2B SaaS company.
Ability to work with Mulesoft or other middleware to bring the vision in the architecture to realisation.
Experience leading the debugging of complex, unexpected cross-system behaviors.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for a global, asynchronous team.
An ownership mindset, with a proactive approach to finding and solving problems.
Working knowledge of NetSuite or other ERP software is a big plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce Certifications: Holding certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder is a huge plus.
Deep Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience navigating and testing core Salesforce features like Flows, Validation Rules, Custom Objects, Permission Sets, and Profiles.
Familiarity with Salesforce Tools: Experience using tools like Salesforce Inspector or the Developer Console to troubleshoot data and verify backend changes during manual testing.
Cloud-Specific Experience: Previous experience testing within Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Salesforce CPQ (especially given the Lead-to-Cash focus).
Release Management Awareness: An understanding of Salesforce’s tri-annual release cycle (Spring, Summer, Winter) and how to regression test against forced platform updates.
Proficiency in writing SQL, SOQL, Salesforce reporting, Data Import, Postman
